½ TBL yeast
½ TBL sugar
1 cup warm water
1 tsp salt
½ TBL Italian seasoning (plus more to sprinkle on top of dough)
2 cups flour
1. Mix yeast sugar and water until dissolved.
2. Add salt and seasonings. Add flour. Mix with a wooden spoon. Will be lumpy and bumpy and sticky.
3. Pour into a ball on a cookie sheet. Rise 20-30 minutes.
4. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with salt and more Italian seasoning.
5. Bake 10 minutes at 425 degrees.
6. Reduce heat to 375 degrees and cook 15 more minutes.
This is great dipped in olive oil and balsamic vinegar. If you can find dehydrated garlic add this as well.
