LEMON MONKEY BREAD


12 frozen rolls, thawed but still cold
Zest of 1 lemon
½ cup sugar
3 TBL melted butter

GLAZE:
½ cup powdered sugar
1 TBL lemon juice

1.Cut rolls in half and place in greased 9x13 pan
2.Drizzle with melted butter
3.Mix lemon zest and sugar together in small bowl and sprinkle only HALF the lemon sugar mix over the rolls
4.Cover and let rise until doubled
5.Sprinkle remaining lemon sugar over rolls then bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
6.Cool about 10 minutes then remove to serving platter
7.Combine glaze ingredients and drizzle over rolls while still warm.
