ICE CREAM CAKE

½ cup hot fudge topping, warmed
8 oz cool whip, divided
1 (4 serving) size instant chocolate pudding and pie filling
8 Oreo cookies or Nutter Butters (rough chopped)
12 ice cream sandwiches

Pour the hot fudge into a bowl and stir in 1 cup cool whip until well blended. Add the pudding mix until well blended. Add in cookies. On a piece of foil place 4 ice cream sandwiches touching tight. Spread ½ the pudding mix on top. Then top with 4 more sandwiches. Frost with remaining pudding mix. Top with the last 4 sandwiches. Frost top and sides with remaining cool whip. Carry to freezer and let freeze at least 4 hours.
