GIRL'S CAMP CHICKEN SALAD FOR CROISSANTS OR CREAM PUFFS

(This one is my favorite, we had these at church girls camp each year)

1 lb. diced cooked chicken
1 cup chopped celery
¼ cup chopped green pepper
2/3 cup nuts (almonds, cashews or mixed)
Red Grapes, halved
1 cup diced or grated cheddar
½ cup drained crushed pineapple (1/2 of 8oz can)

Dressing:
¼ cup milk or half & half
1/8 tsp pepper
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp season salt (johnny’s)
2 TBL white vinegar
2/3 cup miracle whip (not mayo)
2 tsp dehydrated minced onion
